Training

PPA has wide experience in the assessment of training needs, and the design and execution of training courses for clients both in the UK and overseas.

Training assignments have covered all aspects of electricity planning from load forecasting and demand-side issues, to generation planning, appraisal of IPP projects, transmission system design and integration of generation projects, electricity pricing and tariff design, transmission system pricing, evaluation of system loss and loss reduction techniques, and development of ancillary services, and related technical and commercial issues.

We are currently conducting a series of one-to-one seminars to executives from the oil and gas industry on “gas to electricity”, together with a specialist gas sector consultant.
