Rural EnergyPPA has extensive experience on studies involving rural energy systems. This experience includes generation (both thermal and renewable), transmission and distribution.PPA is aware of the poverty alleviation impacts of providing electricity supplies to low-income households, where a key consideration is the affordability of those supplies. In a number of countries, PPA has developed lifeline tariff recommendations. The institutional arrangements for rural power systems are also a key consideration, and PPA has assisted in the development and implementation of suitable institutional frameworks.
